Kelly works as the marketing coordinator and editor for an online magazine, Impowerage. Her work includes promoting the magazine, overseeing the social media campaigns, writing and editing articles and sales copy.  As a one-woman marketing machine she has gained experience in all aspects of marketing.

Before working for Impowerage, Kelly worked as a freelance writer specializing in online content. Her career in writing started when she published a newspaper for her sisters and the dolls of their pretend town. She continued writing in her Honours English class and as the club reporter for her Dairy 4-H club. She worked as a features writer for the Fraser Valley Pulse  where she interviewed local experts and entrepreneurs to tell their stories. She volunteered her services as a grant writer during her Communications practicum for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Fraser Valley.

Kelly graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2009. She originally studied and completed a major in Psychology but decided to switch her focus towards the practical application of psychology in marketing. While at UFV she also completed a double minor in Business and Communications.

Kelly has also studied at BCIT and received an Associate Certificate in Public Relations and a Social Media and Online Marketing Statement of Completion. She is working towards her Marketing Management Certificate in Marketing Communications.
